Caitlyn Jenner has only been in the public eye for a matter of weeks, but already she is said to be courting major fashion labels who are keen to sign her up as a model.
Acclaimed designer (and former Spice Girl) Victoria Beckham is apparently keen to see Jenner modelling one of her new collections, while MAC Viva Glam is also said to be planning a campaign around the new star.
A source close to Victoria Beckham told the Daily Star: “She thinks [Caitlyn] looks absolutely stunning and wants to style her and even include her in an upcoming fashion campaign.
“She is open to the idea of working with transgender models and feels Caitlyn’s glamorous style and Amazonian figure would work perfectly with her clothes.”
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for makeup brand M.A.C confirmed that Jenner is being considered as Miley Cyrus’ replacement in next year’s Viva Glam campaign.
The former Olympian and reality TV star, 62, has been winning praise for her stylish looks, which include a satin bustier for her Vanity Fair shoot; a jewel-coloured sequin miniskirt following a consultation with Sex and the City stylist Patricia Field; and an enviable collection of stunning wrap dresses.
In a recent episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians titled ‘About Bruce’, Kim Kardashian was seen appointing herself as her former stepfather’s stylist and conducting a harsh wardrobe edit. But following Jenner’s transition from ‘Bruce’ to Caitlyn, she has rarely put a step wrong fashion-wise, suggesting that she is more than ready for life as a fashionista.
Jenner’s daughter Kendall, 19, is already an established model who has walked for the likes of Chanel, Balenciaga and Givenchy, as well as starring in campaigns for Calvin Klein, Fendi and Estee Lauder.
